I bought this 1903 house in the Alberta Arts neighborhood of Portland in the fall of 2007. The house itself was far too big at times, with it's five bedrooms and four bathrooms and was difficult for me to get settled into. Every square inch of the property was torn up, redesigned and engineered to bring more functional space, privacy, and definition to the property. I did most of the work myself and took me a 1 1/2 years to complete.
